Test/Quiz Policy

Frequency: Your student should have a test or quiz
roughly every two to three weeks.

Reviews: Every Test will have a review given out the day before the
test. The review is a double homework assignment, and homework passes cannot be
used for reviews.

Absences: Students are responsible to see what test
or quiz they missed while absent and schedule a make-up test with me. Tests and
Quizzes are listed clearly on the large calendar near the entrance to my room.

Retakes: Students who make a poor grade on a test or quiz may do a
retake for 70% maximum points. The student is responsible for scheduling a time
with me. Students may not make up a test or quiz that is over one unit behind
our current unit. (Its OK to take unit 4 tests and quizzes as long as we are
still on unit 5. Once we move on to unit 6, unit 4 work is left behind
permanently.)

Weight: Grades are assigned different weight depending on the
class: Algebra or Pre-Algebra.
