  Physical Science

Physical science is a combination of basic physics and basic chemistry.  It is the science class most students take in their ninth grade year.  Students learn topics atoms, molecules, reactions, heat, forces, electricity, etc.  Some computation and use of formulas is done, and there are, as always in science, lots of terms.  We try to do lots of activities, labs and demos.  This year we are doing chemistry first, then physics second semester.

1st Sem. :   Chap. 1 through 4.3 during 1st quarter, then 4.4,5,6,7 second quarter.

2nd Sem.:   Chap. 8, 13, 14 during 3rd Q, then Chap. 9, 10, 11, 12 second Q.

I have made some notes for this class over chapters that we will be testing over.   You can review these at any time in the year for your own use and help below.  Treat them as a very condensed version of the chapter for test review of essential concepts.                                              …..Mr. G
