Tests and Exams 8th grade English: Here are the new vocabulary words for this week. The
quiz will be on Wednesday. Also, please be sure that your student is reading
and testing over at least four AR books per quarter and giving a book talk
over one of those books. Synonyms: friendly; chummy; cordial 2. official: of or related to
a public office; a person who holds a public office

adviser 3. spacious: with plenty of
room
Synonyms: large; expansive 4. gracious: pleasant and
kindly; courteous 5. excessive: going beyond what is necessary or right Synonyms: too much; too great; extra 9th
Grade English: From now until the end of school, we will be reading in class the book Petey. The students will really enjoy this book. There will be a quiz over the book when we are finished. |
